Here was an interesting article I found, and wanted to share with the class in preparation for my presentation this week on feminism. I look forward to it.
This particular article deals with the issues brought forth by the Pink Ribbon Breast Cancer movement, and how it can be a distraction from some of the other more pressing issues in women's health. Also, this movement is supposed to potentially be hurting women... but read the article and decide for yourself. As I find very interesting in feminism, no one can really decide what the best mode of action is to solve the problems at hand. What do you think?
